Coming from Juventus primavera squad, he begun playing for the senior team since the beginning of the 2006 season in Serie B under coach D.Deschamps. And played 25 games.
Originally a second striker, he was then converted to a central midfielder, with great technical ability, vision and pace, he is likely to earn himself a return to Juventus for the 2008/2009 season. He also plays for Italy U-21.
